Acceleration & top speed
How quickly they get going over the first 10 metres, and how fast they can go.
Change of direction
How sharply they can turn without losing speed, the move that beats a defender.
Deceleration
How well they stop from full speed. Poor braking is one of the most common causes of injury.

How fast they spot a signal and move, the same skill as reading a loose ball.

Before you book
Who is it for? +
Footballers & Athletes from U9 to senior, from first-season grassroots players to academy hopefuls. Clubs, schools and academies can book whole squads.
What happens on the day? +
We'll complete the selected tests at an agreed venue. Testing sessions are typically 45 to 60 minutes long.
What should we bring? +
Suitable footwear for the facility, sports kit and a water bottle. Please arrive 10 minutes early to warm up.
What do we get afterwards? +
A login to your private player dashboard with every score, your rank for your age group, and the areas to focus on. Test again later and it tracks your progress. You'll also get access to exercises to work on at home, and a social media player card with your stats on.
How are players compared? +
Against other VLTIX players of the same age group and gender, using our own testing data from VLTIX players. Results are never shown publicly without permission.
Who runs the sessions? +
Qualified coaches who have been trained with our own software will run sessions. All coaches are DBS-checked, and have first-aid training.
How much does it cost? +
Individual assessments start from £45. Squad testing is priced by squad size: varying between £10 and £20 p/player, so ask us for a quote. You don't pay anything until your slot is confirmed. We do also host testing events, these are priced differently depending on the venue.
